Who we are
Harvestead was founded by Tyree Mims, a grower and builder based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The company is growing where it is planted — starting in Philadelphia and expanding into new regions organically, as growers in each place make Harvestead their own.
Our mission
Harvestead exists to move people from a first container of soil to real food independence — and, for those who want it, to income from what they grow. The name joins harvest and homestead: old, proven ways of feeding your people, supported by tools that keep the records straight. Everything on the platform is built to hand off to the next step, so nothing a grower learns or logs has to be entered twice.
